The Kulm Hotel St. Moritz and the Grand Hotel Kronenhof Pontresina are among the most legendary addresses in the Alps worldwide and have been convincing guests for generations with their warm hospitality, discreet luxury and incomparable aura.
Winter tourism was invented at the Kulm Hotel in 1864 by hotel pioneer and former owner Johannes Badrutt. And the Grand Hotel Kronenhof, one of the most significant hotels in the Alps and true architectural highlight, is celebrating its 175th anniversary in 2023. But, this fascinating history hasn’t stopped the hotels from renewing themselves: in keeping with the legendary pioneering spirit of the Engadin, they continue to develop cautiously and constantly surprise with new concepts.
